Inkron Oy announces an important leadership transition following the completion of its acquisition by Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation in October, 2025. As part of this next phase of development, Veli-Pekka Leppänen, currently CEO of Nanocomp Oy Ltd, has been appointed to lead Inkron Oy in addition to his existing role.
The appointment marks a significant step in strengthening Inkron’s strategic direction and its integration into Radiant’s global photonics capabilities. Leppänen will focus on enhancing Inkron’s technological development, international collaboration, and industry visibility, building on the company’s long-standing expertise in advanced optical materials.
Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation, the world-leading manufacturer of light-guide products, finalized the acquisition of Inkron to deepen its commitment to photonics and advanced material technologies. Nanocomp became part of Radiant in 2023, and Inkron’s addition further strengthens the group’s combined technology and production capabilities in Finland.
