Inkron’s ILE-501 encapsulant possibly has the highest refractive index of its class currently on the market. ILE 501 ‘s high refractive index has proven to be especially effective with applications in the red and IR wavelength areas, like LEDs and sensors. At the same time ILE-501 has very good barrier properties (WVTR and OT) compared with standard silicone-based encapsulant solutions.

ILE-600 features UV cure, which may dramatically reduce the through times in production. Phosphor settling  can be minimzed through “Snap curing”

The graph shows the efficiency and reliability of ILE-501 and 560 in burn tests compared to a standard methyl silicone.
